Early influences came from visits to a local wildlife rehabilitator’s home—a place that felt truly magical. I’ve always loved caring for animals, but my rehabilitation journey began last year when I stopped to help a squirrel that had been hit by a car. Although it didn’t survive, that moment became the catalyst. I believe every life matters, and wildlife rehabilitation allows me to learn, encourage others to reconnect with the natural world, and contribute to the health of the larger ecosystem.
