From crawling through spider webs to rescue stray kittens from the crawl space of a three season room, running around a cemetery to contain an abandoned chicken before winter, jumping out of a moving car while approaching a stop sign to snag a gosling about to run into traffic (unsafe, do not recommend!), or even just working as a vet tech in my youth, I have always sought to help animals who needed it. That changed from something I just did sometimes to a vocation after an experience with a sick fox dying in the woods behind my home- that situation made me feel unknowledgeable and unprepared to help him so I pursued an education and training in wildlife rehabilitation. The rest is history!
