I work in the city center area in Newport News, Virginia finding three squirrels on the sidewalks. I reached out to local rehabber nearest to me in Hampton, Va. While dropping them off the rehabber had squirrels, raccoons and reptiles. I have always loved animals and wen the extra mile to make sure they are safe and feed if I can help it. Shortly, after I dropped the baby squirrels off and helped her weigh them and get settled the happiness and comfort I found taking them, helping with the intake process I reached out to Evelyn's Wildlife Refuge interested in becoming a rehabber. I find joy and warmth in my heart when I knowing they are orphans needing care, food, warmth to grow to be released back to the wild.
