My love of animals has always been there since I was a little girl. A few years ago I decided to finally do something with this love and got my rehab license. I started volunteering with a local rehabber to gain experience and knowledge. I still volunteer with her and rehab on my own. This life choice is so incredibly rewarding and heart breaking at the same time. We save lives and we lose them too. The losses are hard. I cry but I remember they were warm and loved in their final moments and keep trying to help others. Seeing that crazy little life that came to you with eyes closed so helpless one day released back to the wild to live its best natural life is absolutely amazing!
